Semper offers a complete and competitive benefits package to our qualified workers who work directly for us (some classes of workers are excluded). Health & Dental Insurance Package
You must work 240 hours in the previous two months in order to qualify. Once eligible, an enrollment package will be mailed to you with plan options, pricing and instructions. If you choose to enroll, your share of the premium will be deducted weekly from your paycheck.
Semper will contribute part of the premium as long as you meet the eligibility requirements. We offer you 2 health plans and 1 dental plan to choose from.
Health and Dental plans are provided through Blue Cross Blue Shield
The Health plans offered are all Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliant.
401(k) Investment Plan
Semper offers a Qualified Retirement Plan, also known as a 401(k) Investment Plan, through Mass Mutual. You must be 21 years of age or older. Semper employees are eligible to begin matched contributions on the first day of the quarter following the first six months of full-time employment. Your contribution must be between 1% and 15% of your yearly salary and is automatically deducted from your paycheck and matched each week. Semper will match 50% of your contribution up to the first 6% you contribute.
While participation in the plan is voluntary, Semper encourages all of its employees to participate. Please contact Human Resources for information regarding 401(k) Plan enrollment and eligibility. Semper reserves the right to suspend this program and/or its matching contribution at any time.
Section 125 Cafeteria Plan
Pay your insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars and reduce your taxes.
Holidays observed are: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Semper will issue you $75 Holiday Pay through payroll the week following the holiday.
Eligibility requirements for those who work directly for us: You must have worked 1800 hours in the previous 52-week period. You must have worked the week of the holiday.
Paid Time Off Policy (PTO)
PTO as required by Local, State and Federal law.
