SEMPER PRIVACY POLICY

Semper International Privacy Policy

Semper International, LLC and its affiliates (“Semper” or “we” or “us”) are committed to protecting your privacy. We believe that the confidentiality and protection of our website visitor’s information is one of our fundamental responsibilities. That is why we want you to know what information we obtain about you when you visit our site and how we will handle that information.
We believe you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather, how we use it and how you may correct or change it. By using this site, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Website Visitors

Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. Visitors to semperllc.com will remain anonymous. We do not collect personal identifying information about visitors to our site. Our servers collect standard non-identifying information about visits to the site, such as date and time visited, IP address, city, state, and country. This information is used to compile standard statistics on site usage.

Aggregate Information

Semper gathers and tracks certain information about visitors collectively. Some of this information is what you tell us and the rest is what we collect thru the use of ‘cookies’ (small data files are written on your hard drive when you visit a website) which allow us to track information about how you use the site – where you go and how long you stay, for example. This information is ‘aggregated’ meaning that the information from many users is grouped together in a way that does not disclose personal information of any particular user.

The main reason we collect this aggregated information is to evaluate which of our products and services are successful and which ones are not, and in order to evaluate which new services we should make available on our website. We may share this information with our partners, but only in the aggregate, so that they too many understand how visitors use the Semper site.

2. Individual Information Other Than Resume or Employer Profile Information

Semper collects certain individual non-resume information about users, but only if you submit it to us. For example, if you register for the site and check ‘yes’ when you asked if you want Semper to remember your password, the site will place a cookie on your hard drive to do that. Also, when you sign up to use a service, enter into a contest, or purchase a product, for example, we may need more specific information about you, such as name, address, email address, telephone number, credit card number, type of computer, etc. If you give us permission, we may use that information to make you aware of additional products and services that may be of interest to you or to contact you regarding site changes.

3. Resume and Employer Profile Information

The business of Semper is to match skilled individuals with employers who need applicants with those skills. Individuals provide their resume information and employers provide their profile and job posting information so that Semper can identify and match job applicants with job openings. Once Semper makes that match, it automatically provides the individual’s resume information to the employer and the employer’s profile information to the applicant. Again you should understand that this disclosure information is automatic; once a match is identified, the disclosure of information is made without seeking any additional approval by either party.

If you submit an online application or send us an e-mail, we enter the information you send into our electronic database. You may also be contacted by us for additional information.

We also log the IP address of repeated invalid attempts to login to our Account areas. If you have provided personal identifying information via e-mail (such as name and address), that information will only be used to communicate with you to handle your request.

We do not sell your information or transfer it to other parties except as described in Section 5, below. However, you should also understand that, once your resume or profile information has been disclosed to a user of site, that information is outside the control of Semper. That information may be stored or passed on to other parties without our knowledge or your knowledge. Semper is not responsible for the privacy practices of these parties, which may use your information for their own purposes.

If you do not wish to have your information disclosed in this manner, you should not submit that information to Semper International, LLC and affiliates. You may update or revise your information, or remove it from our database, at any time.

Data Security

We maintain reasonable security procedures to help protect against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of the information you provide to us.  Please note that no data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  As a result, while we strive to protect your information and privacy, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you disclose or transmit to us online and cannot be responsible for the theft, destruction, or inadvertent disclosure of your information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for any access to or use of the Semper website using your password, whether or not authorized by you.  Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security.

5. Disclosure to Other Parties When Required by Law or as Necessary to Protect Semper and Our Users

We may disclose your information to third parties in order to protect the legal rights, safety, and security of Semper and the users of this site; prevent fraud (or for risk management purposes); or comply with or respond to law enforcement or legal process or a request for cooperation by a government or other entity, whether or not legally required.

6. Right to Change the Privacy Policy
